Carnarvon House
Large angled masses define the upper floor as they cantilever over the transparent and open level below. Architectural concrete extends from outside the main entry into the house, guiding guests inside. Designed as a gathering place for family and friends, the layout enhances these communal experiences.
Landscape designed by Paul Sangha surrounds the home. A central garden is notched into the massing and acts as a focal point within the interior, bringing light into the dining, kitchen, and living spaces. The top floor comprises four bedrooms, including a large main bedroom and bathroom that overlook the rear yard. The living room opens onto a private outdoor deck at the back of the house. More secluded, a separate area deep in the backyard features a pool and poolhouse, accessible via a narrow path.
