The Quesnel House is situated on a steep slope with views of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. The design maximizes the house's width for optimal views while preserving existing trees on the lot. To achieve this, the main and upper floors cantilever over the tree roots. The home's interior features an open layout with tall ceilings. In addition to the main residence, a two-car garage and laneway house in the rear yard further enhance the available space and functionality.
